Jo Mama Has...
...avoided bickering with her daughter while helping in the kitchen.
...cleaned ten artichokes resulting in black fingers.
...gotten over her jet-lag, enjoyed the nice weather, and is well into her sixth trip to Switzerland.
I love artichokes too but would you believe Vancouverites/Canadians don't eat them! I've had to teach everyone how to make and eat these things here...

I honestly prefer just eating the artichokes. I also have someone else do the "dirty job" :)
