Mrs. TBF has had a tough schedule as of late. Normally during the summer, Mrs. TBF's schedule relaxes a bit. We stay at home in order to avoid the summer crowds throughout Europe, Mrs. TBF's colleagues (and just about everybody else, for that matter) are on vacation, Basel is a ghost-town, and life slows down to a snail's pace.
Normally...
This year has been different. Mrs. TBF's schedule has not slowed down this summer, and she is rundown...worn out...EXHAUSTED!!! She's tired a lot, the traveling (four trips to the U.S. and one trip to Singapore in the last couple of months) has worn her down, made her sick, and...SHE NEEDS SOME R & R!
That's why, during last weekend's R & R weekend, we decided to return to THIS PLACE! That's right...our Mecca of total rest and relaxation, and the place that I don't really want to mention because it's soooo great and I don't want to risk it getting overrun by tourists.
The weekend has been booked, and we'll be there in mid-September.
Hmmmmm....
Doesn't somebody turn 45 that weekend?

Worn out? Well, I know a thing or two about that. I am sure we could have very interesting discussions indeed.
Poor Mrs. TBF! You take good care of her now, you hear?
Have you guys been affected by the floods at all?
Mrs. TBF sounds like my fiance, G....he's so overworked and always exhausted. We are literally counting down the days until we are on our honeymoon!
tobson - Don't worry...the moving and the Helsinki summer will soon be a thing of the past.
christina - I always take good care of Mrs. TBF. She'll be back from NYC tomorrow morning, and I'll take good care of her this weekend. Promise!
Also, no flooding problems right where we live. Although, a couple of towns that are not too far from here have had some problems.
schok mad - I tried going to your blog, but something on it kept jamming up my Mac. I had to force quit. Maybe some other time...
we just got back from a sunny r&r weekend last weekend, loved the sun!
Oh the same thing happened to me TBF, so schok mad - you need to take off the extra (crap) on your website or none of us will be able to load it up. It's trouble with some clock or plug ins - don't plug up your site!
ET - I have no idea what you're talking about. I just brought up my blog, and it loaded in about one second. Maybe the problem is on your end?
You have NO idea how jealous I am! Now that we're back to our boring American-style suburban life I will vicariously through you and Mrs TBF and all your travels. Oh, the memories... what I wouldn't give for another vacation to Spain!
No, ET meant problems at schokolade mädchen's blog! It loads slowly for me too. You're is fine, TBF!
