Jumping On The Bandwagon!
For the first time in more than a century, Chicago has two chances at a Major League baseball championship, and my upcoming trip to Chicago will coincide with games 6 & 7 of the Cubs/Sox World Series.
TBF- I am SOOOOO there with you (as a Chicago native) and of course my stupid baseball teams would have to wait until I am in Europe to go and get themselves a championship...
but...come on...the Sox? :) Are you suddenly a southsider?
yelli - I'm one of the rare Chicagoans who likes both teams. However, if I had to cheer for just one I'd pick the Cubbies.
dm - I just follow the standings on the internet. I used to have NASN (North American Sports Network) in my Sky package, but we found that we rarely watched the games so we cancelled it.
Ah, the fond memories of 1984...Steve Garvey's home run, ground ball through Leon Durham's legs, the Padres coming back from a seemingly insurmountable 2-0 deficit to beat the Cubs. It's almost enough to make me forget they lost close to 100 games this season.

Chicago!!!! I sort of wish I were home in the US right now so I could follow the playoffs. How do you keep up with games where you are?

Oh come on over, we don't need a ticket we can just stand outside, that's what I plan to do...and lure the drunk boys over to my place!
Michael,
You are so naughty...but I love it!

You can jump on the bandwagon, but it looks like it may not go very far....
kirk - That's really hitting below the belt. Steve Garvey IS Satan.
colon blow - Perhaps we have the making of 1984, but with the Cubs proving to be victorious. No? Ok...I'm off the bandwagon.
Go Sox!
