Ouch...

...That hurts! I'd like to say that this injury was the result of a valiant diving effort to return a volley ending in a sizzling cross court winner...but it wasn't. It was actually me being a clutz tripping over my own feet while running to return a volley. I ended up scraping/burning my knees on the clay - the left one needing a little first aid that was kindly administered by my oponent - Rammy. I did end up winning that particular game and then because my left knee was dripping blood we thought it would be a good idea to wash out the clay, get some anti-bacterial lotion and apply a band-aid. The prognosis is good though and I'll survive my first tumble on the court since I was a teenager.
Ciao.

While I am sorry for your pain, I am relieved that it is you and not TBF wearing the cute pink skirt. I forgot at first that you use the colorful font when posting.

TMS,

Yeah, I went through the same confusion as you on this post!

I'm sure TBF would tell you that there is another reason why you should have realized it was not he that was wearing the skirt...need I go on?

You guys should know better than to think that my "glass" knees could handle something as strenuous as tennis. The closest I come to playing tennis is when I lunge for the remote control to switch the channel when Mrs. TBF is watching Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the French Open etc., etc., etc...

I didn't know Rammy was such a "fierce" opponent! Glad it was only a minor injury and that you're ok :-)

TMS - Must be a guy thing to like the little tennis skirts...TBF would love me to have a whole wardrobe of tennis skirts.
CB - I had to explain what you meant to TBF, and I assume it had something to do with size. :)
CS - She's not...she's quite a nice oponent...but I'm just a bit of a clutz! After all - she did help me with the first aid application. :)

Mrs. TBF,

Your assumption is correct!
