In Less Than Two Weeks...

...we will be returning to Amalfi...and just in the nick of time too since we're almost out of Amalfi Limoncello.

This year, we're going to skip staying in Capri (although we may take a daytrip there), and instead we'll be staying the whole time at the same Amalfi hotel we stayed at last year. Hopefully, the weather will be nice (can't be much worse than it has been here), and we'll manage to get our tans back.

Gee...I wonder if my buddy will be staying at our hotel again this year. Maybe I'll have to give him a call to find out.

We're thinking of going to Amalfi (or Capri) in October. We'll need some travel tips!

TBF for those of us not schooled in the finer things in life, what is Amalfi Limocello. My guess is a citrus (lemony) liqueor (sp?;-)). I have never been one for fancy flavored booze. I do love lemons though.

But if you're not staying in Capri....where will you get your capri pants from?

Gretchen - We'll be happy to give you all the Amalfi/Capri travel tips you can handle.

TMS - Limoncello is made by infusing lemon peels in grain alcohol or vodka. I'm sure you could find it at Binny's Beverage Depot. It's great as a shot (keep the bottle and the shot glasses in the freezer), or as a Limoncello and Tonic.
You'd like it. Just imagine sweet lemonade mixed with vodka.

Michael - Good question. We are thinking of taking a daytrip to Capri, so maybe I'll pick up a pair then.
