Jumpin'...

...on the global warming bandwagon!

(Early Thursday morning: TBF walks into the bathroom singing "You're Beautiful!" with a cup of coffee for Mrs. TBF while she stands in front of the mirror putting on her makeup.)

Mrs. TBF: "Will you drive me to work today?"

TBF: "Ummm...no. We have to do our share to help stop global warming!"

I need to remember NOT to have taken a sip of tea just before reading this blog....

And once you've sold your car, you'll have to find another way to help against global warming. I wonder what it'll be...

if all of us (and I did dammit!!) had voted for Al Gore or even John Kerry, (again I did)we would not be hated in the world, would not be in Iraq, would possibly be doing something about global warming.

Greg - Welcome! There are very few things that I like better than causing a person to snort assorted foodstuffs out the nose.

CS - I haven't told Mrs. TBF yet, but I'm thinking of turning off the heat next winter. Whatcha think?

Sara - See? We "stupid SUV owners" aren't all bad...

TMS - We can still do something about global warming regardless of who's currently President. For example, we can choose not to live in houses that are larger than we really need, move closer to work or take public transportation, not drive gas-guzzling mega-SUVs or motor coaches...

Oh...sorry!

See, the whole Global Warming title is a bit misleading - hence the people who say 'what is this global warming, it's (insert some negative 0 freezing number here) here!' Which is why it should really more correctly be called 'climate change' as that is a more accurate description of what's really happening. It's not necessarily going to be warmer all over, but you definitely aren't going to be using the Old Farmer's Almanac for your weather prediction much longer. --Beejum (blogger confused)
