Amalfi: Mini-Bar Vs. Duty Free....

Here's what 10 Euros buys you in our Amalfi hotel mini-bar.

Here's what 10 Euros buys you in the duty-free shop at Basel Airport.

Which would you rather have for your hard-earned 10 Euros?

Neither. I prefer Bombay Gin.

Ah yes, the old gin on your cornflakes trick. A sure fire way to start the day on a high note.

CB - That was not one of the choices. Please choose again.

Barry - I know the bathrobe makes it look like it was morning, but it was really evening. Really!

I thought all along you've been telling me that size didn't matter.

TSK - I've never told you that. You must be confusing me with TMS.

TBF=Mini Bar? ; )

TSK - I don't get it...

CS - Sorry...I forgot to check.

ET - It's over. It's Sunday night, and we're home watching the NFL.

I think I hurt myself laughing at this! This is a scream!

BEARS! Did you see the game? I believe you may be able to watch it over the internet if you do not get it on your satellite package.

Dixie - May I recommend a nice martini to numb the pain?

TMS - No, I did not see the game. We were stuck with the Dallas game instead. But, no matter...I think the game in "my head" is much better: Favre gets sacked ten times, throws five interceptions, and then cries like a baby as a walks dejectedly off the field realizing he tarnished his legacy by not having retired at the end of last season.

Too funny! I definitely think someone should hire you as a spokesmodel for something or other.

Christina - Thanks...but that sounds a bit too much like a job to me. I guess I'd consider it if I only had to work between 10:00 and 14:00...with two hours off for lunch, of course.
